Various organizations and political parties have condemned Saturday’s serial bomb blasts in New Delhi in which at least 21 people were killed and more than ninety injured.
AICC: All India Christian Council in a press release said All India Christian Council Nation secretary for public affair Dr. Sam Paul “condemned the Delhi bomb blasts as crimes against humanity as they targeted innocent civilians, among them women and children. …There was no place for violence of any kind in religion, and nothing justified acts of terrorism.”
All India Catholic Union President Dr. John Dayal described the blasts as “wanton violence and a dastardly act against innocents.” The Delhi-based United Christian Action also extended “prayerful support and solidarity with the victims” .
BJP Nagaland: Condemning the acts of the “Indian Mujahideen,” BJP Nagaland vice president TL Merry and spokesman Basu Damani urged the Government to leave no stone unturned in tracing out the perpetrators and dismantle the very formation of such terrorist organizations. The party also called upon all state governments to exert maximum pressure on the Union Government to re-amend the (anti) terrorism laws.
