Infant dies in accident

A three-month baby was killed in a road accident on Wednesday at Phelungre, some two kms away from Kiphire and four others were injured.
According to sources, the passengers of a sumo tata were on their way to Kphire after attending the silver jubilee of Catholic Youth Movement of the area at Phelungre. The injured were later admitted at Kiphire civil hospital. The cause of the accident could not be ascertained as the driver of the sumo was in serious condition at the time of filing the report.
