One day long free medical camp was organised under the aegis of Zunheboto Company (D Coy) of 164 Infantry Battalion (TA) (H&H) Naga at Akuhaito in Zunheboto district on September 20. Around 500 patients turned up from various neighbouring villages of Akuhaito. Major K Kaping, company commander, D coy, captain Mughavi Y Sema and captain Chandrakant N (RMO) along with 29 other ranks were present for the occasion. Medicines were distributed free of cost to all who turned up and emergency medicines were to the Akuhaito medical dispensary for future use.
Joint Council Coco Area, chairman Hozheto Assumi on behalf of the village expressed gratitude to the Commanding Officer,164 (TA) (H&H) Naga and his team for their sincere effort and further expressed hope that more such ‘benevolent acts’ would be taken up in future and assured full cooperation in the days to come.
