THN endorses Watsu Mungdang demand

Tangkhul Hoho Nagaland (THN) has said it fully endorsed the demand of Watsu Mungdang Kohima initiated public rally, held at Kohima June 1 last, to bring to book those culprits involved in the assassination attempt on the life of retired CSN registrar Imtila Jamir May 27 last allegedly by one Worshim Tangkhul along with his other accomplices. Asserting that it had already expressed strongest condemnation against “this beastly act”, through Tangkhul union, Kohima, the THN, in a joint statement released by its president N.A. Kasar and general secretary N Jagoi Saturday further urged responsible authorities to be very transparent in dealing with the issue and ensure that culprits were arrested. The THN also urged the authorities responsible to take “required punitive” irrespective of who belong to which tribe/community so “to take the message home and to avoid further recurrence.”
