New panchayat hall, village gate at Yimchong village

The newly constructed panchayat hall and village gate was inaugurated by project director, DRDA, Longleng Nukshila Jamir, at Yimchong village under Sakshi EAC Hq. on March 19.
The village panchayat hall and village gate was constructed under MNREGA and SGSY fund for the year 2010- 20 11.
Nukshila speaking on the occasion said the government has been providing sufficient fund under rural department to each villages in Nagaland for the uplift of rural people living below poverty line.
She also appealed the villagers to utilize funds judiciously for development of the viilage. She said Naga people needed peace and tranquility and believed if there was peace there would be development and progress.
Government officials, BDO, Commandant NAPTC Chumukedima and staff of DRDA, office Longleng attended the inaugural function.
