BHSS Palm Sunday procession: Bethesda Higher Secondary School (BHSS), Walford, Dimapur would be organizing ‘Palm Sunday’ procession on April 17, 7:10am. The procession would start from BHSS new complex, Walford.
KGPO general meeting: Kuhuboto Ghakhu Public Organization (KGPO) has convened a general public meeting on April 19, 10am at KGPO hall Kuhuboto town. All GBs, village council chairman (VCC) of respective villages under Kuhuboto Ghakhu and KGPO executive members have been requested to attend the meeting.
DIS Mangkolemba informs: Deputy Inspector of School (DIS) has informed all government schools under DIS Mangkolemba to collect rice from the office on April 18 for Tsurangkong, April 19 for Japukong and April 20 for Changkikong.
LBC 6th graduation ceremony: Living Bible College (LBC) of NCRC Sumi council would be conducting 6th graduation service on April 17, 2pm at NCRC Purana bazaar church.
BKD cultural seminar: Benreului Kangbau Dimapur would be organizing a cultural seminar on April 23, 8am at the residence of Paukwerangbe Reunim, Burma camp.
NSCRFS executive meeting: Nagaland State Council of Rabbit Farmers’ Society (NSCRFS) has convened an executive meeting on April 23, 10:30am at the residence of its president. All state level office bearers have been requested to attend the meeting along with two passport photo and `200 for ID card.
WSH meeting: Western Sumi Hoho (WSH) has convened a meeting on April 18, 10am at Sumi Hoho office, Chekiye. All office bearers, advisors and executive members have been requested to attend the meeting.
NCC cadets from DPS Dimapur receive scholarship: Two students from DPS Dimapur, “Sgt”. Lanusenla Ao and “Sgt.” Rongsentila Imsong were awarded `6000 each as scholarship by NCC cadet welfare society for their overall performance in scholastic as well as co-scholastic achievements. The management and staff of DPS thanked No. 1 Naga AIR Sqn NCC Dimapur for the scholarship and congratulated the two students for the achievement.
CCHE degree students informed: Regular classes for degree II and III year students of Capital College of Higher Education would start from May 2. Students have been informed to take provisional admission on or before April 30. Vice principal of the college, Dr. Zokho Venuh in a press release said that in the event of failure of students in university exam, admission fees would be refunded. Further, admission forms and prospectus are being issued for the academic session 2011-12.
ANSTA meeting: All Nagaland School Teachers’ Association (ANSTA) has convened an executive body meeting on April 26 at 10am at LCS building near Ao Church Kohima. All units/sub-units office bearers have been asked to attend the meeting and also submit yearly membership fee for 2011.
Kma BLOs informed: All Booth Level Officers of Kohima district have been informed that remuneration for the year 2009 and 2010 would be released on April 19 onwards in the office of DC Kohima from 11am-1pm. BLOs have been informed to produce appointment letters as proof of performing duty.
BJP workers join NPF: Former youth wing president of BJP (Seyochung Area) Ghovito, Khekiye GB of Phisami Village, Khehuto GB of Yangzitong village joined NPF party to extend support to C. Kipili Sangtam the sitting MLA of 59 A/C in next general election under the leadership of chief minister Neiphiu Rio and Dr. Shurhozelie President NPF.
ASU federal assembly: Alisopur Students’ Union (ASU) has convened its federal assembly on April 22 at Hq. Alisoopur village.
FTC 2nd graduation ceremony: Faith Theological College (FTC), Ura Villa colony, Circuit house area, Dimapur would be conducting its 2nd graduation ceremony on April 20, 11:30am at town hall, Dimapur. K. Hocto Kinimi IFS, Conservator of Forests, Southern Territorial circle, Nagaland will be the chief guest and Rev Dr V.K Nuh, general secretary, council of Naga Baptist churches (CNBC) as the guest speaker.
