State police department has reportedly received an intelligence reports that some disruptive elements could infiltrate into Mokokchung town so to create law and order situation in the ensuing by-polls. “Police and security forces will conduct flush out operation in Mokokchung town and its surrounding areas where any such elements may be taking shelter,” IGP S.T. Sangtam said in a statement. The PHQ further directed the SP Mokokchung to conduct flush out operations wherever it was necessary.
