To bring to the notice of the government the issue of private registered vehicles plying as taxis and alleged inaction of regional transport officer, Kohima to check such conduct, the all Nagaland taxi association (ANTA) June 8 would submit a memorandum to the DC Kohima. ANTA has informed all the owners and drivers of zonal and local taxis to assemble at Phool Bari junction June 8 between 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. It said a fine of Rs.500 would be imposed on those who failed to appear on that day.
