Tuli Town Ward Union (TTWU) has appealed to the state commissioner to release the Tuli sub-division natural calamity relief fund 2009-10 of `4 lakhs. According to Tuli Town Ward Union (TTWU) chairman, Molungba Yaden, and secretary, Alem Aier, the said amount was received by Lichemse Sangtam, ADC Tuli from Deputy Commissioner’s office Mokokchung on November 6 last and promised to distribute before December 25. But to no avail.
In this regard TTWU, stated the survey team from Mokochung had already submitted a report to DC Mokokchung, and was anticipating for a response to their letter. Appealing to the administration to look into the matter and do the needful, the union also said that if the administration fails to release the natural calamity relief fund within June 30 then it would not take any responsibility for any untoward incident.
