Charity show in aid of Sharon ‘Home of Hope’

In aid of ‘Sharon Home of Hope Orphanage’ a charity show was organized here on Friday at IMC, Dimapur with DMC chairperson, K. Khekaho Assumi as chief guest.
Addressing the occasion, Khekaho expressed the need to cultivate networking system to build a society or institution. He also said, people should not depend only on government but should think ways to do for the government. DMC chief assured his support to help out the kids in securing a plot of land, as the orphanage home was running in a rented house.
The founder of Sharon Home, Shanti Manglemei also shared her experience on ‘God’s work’ shown through the poor and needy kids. She said it was through hardship that one learns to wholly depend on God and learn a lesson to exercise ones faith. Shanti pointed out that children at ‘Sharon Home’ are trained with the art of making flowers and pot painting and the finished products had been sold out to support themselves; a lesson to work hard for achieving their aim. Besides, the Home facilitates for the spiritual development to strengthen their faith with God.
Special highlights of the show included songs and choreography from Sharon Home Kids and Guitar ensemble from Patkai Music students.
