Pangnyu exhorts VCCs, VDBs

Parliamentary Secretary for Rural Development & REPA, S. Pangnyu Phom, called upon the VCCs and VDB Secretaries, to ensure ‘better development’ in respective villages. Department of Rural Development in the state has brought a commendable job and has taken up the challenge to ensure welfare of the public as its top priority. He said this at the meeting with VCCs & VDB Secretaries here at CKS Hall Tuensang. He also exhorted the people to commit their duties and materialize action for the development of the rural areas judiciously.
He further said that success without fulfillment is ‘meaningless’ and urged the people to uphold the objectives of the Department so as to continue with solidarity and cohesiveness to further impact of the common people.
Viketol Sakhire, Commissioner and Secretary (RD), Heno, Parl. Secy. Fishery & Printing Stationary, Relief & Rehabilitation, Kejong MLA & Addl. Director RD, K.G. Himp also spoke at the meeting for the common lucrative of the society.
Earlier, the meeting was chaired by Dy. Commissioner & Chief Executive Officer DRDA, Tuensang Y.L.Jami, Nolengol Project Director DRDA, Tuensang delivered the welcome address while vote of thanks was proposed by Tsalito DPO, DRDA Tuensang.
