Rotarary Club Dimapur on April 13 installed a tube well with sufficient equipments for drinking water at the government high school, Lengrijan, Dimapur.
Rotarary Club in the presence of village council, VEC members and teaching faculty inaugurated the tube well and was later handed over to the school authority at a formal programme.
VEC and village council Lengrijan, Dimapur and its entire community has expressed gratitude to Rotarary Club Dimapur, Nagaland for their yeoman service towards students of this village.
The Rotary team was led by Er. Sanjay Kumar Jain, president and S Akokla Lucy, president elect Dimapur Branch.
Meanwhile, A. Walling chairman VEC, Lengrijan,Dimapur also lauded the team and Ram Prasad and family who voluntarily bore all the expenses for the project. The chairman informed that since last year, students of GHS have been insured under students’ insurance scheme which would cover GPS Lengrijan from this year.
This covers certain packages for the entire students for any eventuality like accident/death etc., to get coverage under the scheme.
