Usage of ‘DCCI’ nomenclature objected

Reacting to a news item “DCCI clarifies on May 1 election”, reported in a local daily May 4, the “bonafide” members and associations of DCCI today objected to the usage of “DCCI” nomenclature by “handful of likeminded persons”. According tom them, it was open for any person to form any association in a democratic set up, however, pointed out that the association should not be called “DCCI” unless it was carried out in a manner which was transparent and approved by bona fide business association under Dimapur jurisdiction. Urging district administration and authority of registered society to intervene and set things right, they said otherwise business associations under Dimapur jurisdiction would be compelled to resort to own means of re-course to the extent of shutting down the market.
