A log businessman was found dead near Thekrezuma village Saturday evening and two suspects hailing from Nepali community were arrested by the police in this connection. According to police, the log businessman identified as Vileto Pier (45) was found dead near the village at around 5 p.m. Saturday. Police suspected it to be a case of murder as the body reportedly bore machete (dao) cut marks on the head and hands. The victim was suspected to have died on the spot. The body of the deceased was later taken to his native home Khonoma. The motive behind the murder was not known as the main accused is still absconding. Meanwhile, a murder case has been registered at the South Police Station and police has launched a manhunt to arrest the main accused whose identity has not been revealed investigative reasons.
