The third round of tripartite talk of the government of India, the government of Manipur and the United Naga Council on the demand for an “alternative arrangement” has been scheduled on May 30 at Tahamzam (Senapati). In this regard, the United Naga Council (UNC) Tahamzam, Senapati has earnestly appealed for holding special prayer service/mass in the Churches on May 29. UNC said that the tripartite talks have now come to a crucial stage where the dialogue for alternative arrangement would be held in more concrete terms. It said that efforts were on to hold consultation involving cross section of the Naga civil society before the talks.
