‘Talent-Expo’ at Phom Church Dimapur
DIMAPUR: The Dimapur Phom Baptist Church, youth department held a ‘Talent-Expo’ on May 22. The programme was organized to provide platform for the youngsters of the church and to explore their talents. Nyahthei Phom wife of S. Pangnyu Phom, parliamentary secy of RD & REPA graced the occasion as the special guest. She exhorted the youth to use their talents in the right way and to glorify God. The youth department thanked the special guest for her presence and encouraging the youth. The department also thanked all the participants and encouraged them to take part even in the days to come.
DGU to observe foundation day
DIMAPUR: The Dimapur Gorkkha Union (DGU) would be celebrating its 14th Foundation Day on May 29, 11am at Town Hall, Dimapur. The highlights of the programme will be cultural extravaganza followed by a grand feast with “An evening with a renowned Gorkha rock band from Shillong”. Union has informed its members to attend the celebration in traditional attire.
Un-registered auto drivers informed
DIMAPUR: Un-registered auto drivers in Dimapur have been informed to get themselves registered in the office of Dimapur district auto rickshaw drivers’ union (DDADU) within one week. President of DDADU Akaho Kiba has informed that drivers without union identify card and proper driving license would be penalized.
