Kate Moss stepped out last night to do a favour for friend Stella McCartney – turning on the Christmas lights at her London store.
But by the end of the evening she looked more than a little punch drunk.
A worse-for-wear Kate, 34, had some mysterious scratches on her cheek as she left Shoreditch House, where she partied with Stella and boyfriend Jamie after the star-studded event.
And even more intriguingly, boyfriend Jamie, 39, had what appeared to be a none too impressive black eye as he sat in the back of the car clutching a bottle of champagne.
It looked like Jamie was explaining to Stella how he got his black eye as they sat in the back of the car.
Quite how the pair got themselves in such a dishevelled-looking state is anybody’s guess.
But judging by the free alcohol on offer at Stella’s lavish opening, it appears that the couple took full advantage.
Kate started her evening looking glamorous enough as she arrived at the West End store with her daughter Lila Grace, 6.
The pair joined celebrities including Stella’s father, Sir Paul McCartney, 66, Scottish diva Lulu, and comic Peter Kay at the annual event.
Beatles legend Sir Paul, and Peter, 35 – dressed as Geraldine McQueen from his show Britain’s Got the Pop Factor switched on the shop’s Christmas lights.
After playing mother for a while, Kate then trooped off to Shoreditch House to attend Black And Gold singer Sam Sparro’s charity concert, presented by Sound Tribe Live in conjunction with Pepsi Maxcast.
A source said: ‘Kate was evidently enjoying herself showing her dancing moves and throwing her arms about in the air during Vula’s and Sam’s sets.’
The model also enjoyed a spot of bowling downstairs with friends including Sir Richard Attenborough.
