Disaster management for scouts, guides

For the first time, the disaster management training for scouts and guides was jointly organized by Kohima district bharat scouts and guides, Kohima home guard & civil defence and National disaster response force (NDRF) Guwahati from July 20-23 at I.G. Stadium.
Altogether 45 rovers, scouts guides with 6 Kohima district officials and about 15 NDRP and10 home guard & civil defense personnel are imparting basic training and improvised tactics in management of disaster. Tackling various fire equipments are also being imparted by home guards personnel.
