Team Metamorphosis, Wokha, has refuted the claims of Angangwadi Workers and Helpers’ Association published on December 1 saying the survey was not intended to find any fault of any individual, group, any field worker or any officer nor did it questioned the efficiency and dedication of the officers concerned in any manner.
In a clarification, Team Metamorphosis media cell stated it was clearly mentioned that the survey was conducted only in 28 (twenty-eight) villages and not the whole of Wokha district or only on fourteen villagers as claimed by the Angangwadi Workers and Helpers’ Association.
The Team maintained that series of proper trainings were given to all the volunteers as per the procedures given by the centre and sent to the twenty- eight villages. It further clarified that contrary to speculations, interviews were also strictly conducted only with pregnant mothers, lactating mothers and mothers of children who are 0 to 6 years of age and therefore there was no question of interviewing children or village leaders or any other.
It further added that ACTED, PAC, NTF, NEICORD along with Team Metamorphosis have also been creating awareness for the central flagship programs with the knowledge of the district administration and nodal/concerned departments through district forum and grass root level awareness meetings/ seminars (with village leaders and representatives).
Further, the team said its office was always open for anyone interested in knowing the details with regard to any of the central flagship programs which the concerned organization was entrusted to work upon.
