One of the most eagerly awaited festive extravaganza, ‘The Winter Mela’, was inaugurated, Monday, at the Imkongmeren Sports Complex, by 26 Aonglenden A/C NPF president-Nungsangmeren.
Speaking to this correspondent, 26 Aonglenden A/C NPF information secretary-Jungshi, while appreciating the initiative of the Mela organizers Sutsung and Temjensosang, said they were not just generating an income but also bringing joy and the spirit of festivity in the hearts of the people of Mokokchung.
The Mela offers the Giant Wheel, Well of Death, Mini Roller Coaster, Russian, Break Dance, Disco, apart from the Food Courts, Toy Shops, Kitchen Wares, etc. The brief inaugural function was led by Limayanger and invocation was said by 26 Aonglenden A/C NPF general secretary-Imsunungsang.
