‘Imlong Hall’ inaugurated at Impur Bible School

‘Imlong Hall’, was inaugurated at Impur Bible School, Impur by Rev. Dr. Mar Atsongchanger, executive secretary, Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang (ABAM), on April 28.
This building was constructed and donated by the family of late Imlong Chang OBE and his wife late Imcharenla Imlong in their memory.
It may be mentioned that late Imlong Chang OBE and his wife late Imcharenla Imlong embraced Christianity and were baptized on April 28, 1940. He was the pioneer in spreading Christianity in eastern Nagaland area in the 1940’s and 50’s.
His family members donated this hall for the students of the Bible school, most of who come from some of the most challenged areas of Nagaland which include Burma, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam.
