JD(U) unit stage dharna in Delhi

To press the Centre to expedite the Naga peace process, JD (U) Nagaland unit staged dharna at the party’s head office in New Delhi on Monday. 
The dharna dubbed as “successful” by JD(U) state unit was led by minister for agriculture and co-operation, G Kaito Aye. JD(U) national leaders including national secretary and coordinator of JD(U) NEEC Afaque Ahmed Khan, participated in the dharna. JD(U) Nagaland through its media cell said that the dharna saw enthusiastic participation in support of the early solution to the “Indo-Naga” issue.
JD(U) Nagaland appealed to the government of India to convene a special session of the parliament for “urgent honourable, acceptable and inclusive solution to the ongoing “Indo-Naga” peace process.
Meanwhile, JD(U) state unit has expressed appreciation to national leaders and party rank and file for their participation.
