Zunheboto district administration and police Tuesday said that investigation was on with regard to the gun-fight between IRB personnel and NSCN (K) cadres near Aotsakili-Kithakisa, under Zunheboto district Monday morning where one NSCN (K) cadre was killed. DC Zunheboto Govind Jaiswal disclosed that an inquiry board has been set up to look into the case.
He also assured that the real picture and reason behind the shootout would be made known within two days after “thorough information and investigation”.
Talking to Nagaland Post, DIG (IR) also said that SP Zunheboto would make known the account of the entire incident after thorough probe at the earliest. It maybe mentioned that the NSCN (K) MIP has sought clarification at the earliest.
