All Nagaland PWD Field Workers’ Association (ANPWDFWA) has reminded state chief minister, Neiphiu Rio with regard to the representation submitted earlier for consideration to accord regularization of service of those who completed 15 years continuous service in the department.
A press statement issued by the association’s sessional chairman, Inakhu Aye, and sessional secretary, K. Atovi Awomi, stated that as per the 2003 general election manifesto of NPF led DAN government, assurance was given to regularize the work charge employees; however, the same could not be fulfilled till date.
The statement also said that having “greatly aggrieved of the facts the association has submitted memorandums and reminders in the past on February 23, 2011, April 5, 2011, and another appeal letter on September 17, 2012”, and that they would face immense hardship unless their problems were redressed.
