Aghulhu Amsu-u – a Sumi book released

A book titled Aghulhu Amsu-u written by Inato Y. Shikhu was released by Rev. Dr. Hevukhu Achumi, Senior Pastor, Thilixu Baptist Church Friday The book based on Biblical teachings is written in Sumi dialect.

The devotional book talks about seeking God in ones everyday life with a concept of ‘meet God before meeting a new day”.

The book can also be termed as guidebook to ‘first meal’ in religious aspect. It contains a guide for an individual to read a bible in one year. 

The book is being published in a series of quarterly publication and can be purchased in book stalls or from church leaders (pastors).

The distributorship of the book has been given to pastors’ associations of WSBAK, SBAK (Nito Mount), SBAK (Aizuto), SABAK and NCRC (Sumi).

Inato, who is the publisher and editor of Sumi vernacular newspaper – Sumi Zumulhu and Christian weekly newspaper – Indian Christian Post, has also authored “A Rediscovery and Rebuilding of Naga Cultural Values” which is being used for B.A. Honours in Nagaland University.
