Sumi Baptist Akukuhou kuqhakulu (SBAK-NM) Children Department kick started its 10th children’s festival at Rotomi Village from October 7 to 9 under the theme ‘’Heroes of Change.”
The inaugural programme of the festival was dedicated by SBAK-NM executive secretary, Reverend Hukugha Zhimo. The opening ceremony was displayed by Aghunato village B/C, while the host church Rotomi Baptist Church enthralled the audience with indigenous song.
Introductory note was administered by Ghosheli Zhimo C.E.D secretary SBAK wherein she thanked and expressed gratitude to the host church on behalf of SBAK, executive members, the children and congregation.
Er.K. Hukato Shohe, G.B Rotomi village, exhorted the gathering to warmly welcome the participants and to make their stay in the village memorable. Village-wise competition on various choreography, group Bible recitation (Action), Indigenous Tune and mime act, variety show by Yezami Baptist Church were some of the day’s highlight.
Earlier the i programme was jointly chaired by Aghali Swu APC SBC Asukhuto Town and Ilito Chishi APC Aghunato Town BC, while the ‘Praise and Worship’ was led by SBAK Centre Church Children. The function concluded with benediction by Evangelist SBAK-NM, Hukavi Zhimo.
Altogether 4000 children delegates under SBAK-NM are taking part in the festival.
