Surprise checking conducted in Kma

Enforcement Officers and Flying Squad Officials of COPTA Kohima comprising of Police and Health and Family Welfare Department on October 7 conducted surprise checking at the shops located near Educational Institutes within South Police Station jurisdiction 
Ina press note by Sub-Divisional Police Officer (South) & PRO Atu Zumvü NPS, altogether 33 shopkeepers were challaned during the raid and a sum of Rs. 6,600 was imposed against them for selling tobacco products in the vicinity of educational institutions.
The tobacco products seized from their possession were forwarded to the court of CJM Kohima along with a report, police informed.
