PWD road via Losami to Phek that remained blocked due to heavy landslide since June 28 last has been opened. In a press release, Losami village council chairman Kezuwelo Akami stated that the blocked of the road caused untold suffering to many travelers. Landslide that occurred on August 3, 2015 had blocked the same area but was cleared and could ply for nearly a year. However, heavy landslide occurred in the same place this year also. With the initiative of Losami village VDB and deputy commissioner (DC) Phek, the blockade road was cleared with contribution from Murohu Chotso, DC. Phek, Abhija EE. PWD Phek, Kuko Mero ADC Phek, Joseph Addl SP Phek, EAC Phek, Kewechete VP GHSS Phek, Phek Village VCC, Phek Sumo Union, Ramatar, Raja Durai, all vehicles owners of Losami village
