CAGBA consultative meeting held

With a view to promote co-ordination and understanding among the member villages for all round development of the area, the officials of Chumukedima Area GBs Association (CAGBA), headed by the president and the general secretary held consultative meeting with all the 58 constituent villages. 
A press note issued by CAGBA president Tokishe Y. Achumi and general secretary Atso Gwizan stated that the interactive meetings, held in 4 phases started on August 3 at Diphupar ‘A’ with participation of 15 villages followed by Selouphe village on August 10 with 11 villages, Chumukedima town on August 17 with 13 villages and Padumphukhri on August 24 with 19 villages. 
All the members, during the interaction, expressed the need to closely work together to bring the people of the area together, setting aside tribalism, considering the fact that the area being within the district administrative headquarter is a home to all the tribes of Nagaland, stated the release. It also stated that the meeting stressed on the need to collectively work towards ushering in peace and maintaining public order in the area. 
Meeting also resolved that a general body meeting would be held at the earliest to chalk out plans and find ways and means to develop the area through proper co-ordination of the member villages. 
Chumukedima Area GBs Association also expressed sincere gratitude to all who had contributed, both financially and morally, towards the success of the consultative meeting and also to all the member villages for their active participation.
