With the support from members of Peace Commission of the Division of Freedom and Justice for Baptist Word Alliance (DFJ-BWA) towards the “Journey of Common Hope” for Naga reconciliation, Forum for Naga Reconciliation declared today that reconciliation process would continue till the goal is achieved. Addressing a press conference on Tuesday at Hotel Saramati conference hall, Dimapur, Dr. Wati Aier convener FNR said it was a great honour to get support from 120 nations for Naga reconciliation process and now its time to see how seriously leaders from various factions would take this.
“It is a challenge upon us and I hope our political groups will take this seriously”, Dr Wati said. Mentioning that reconciliation has become an everyday process, Dr. Wati said FNR is in continuous touch with all the political groups who are alsol in support for Naga reconciliation. He further said in reconciliation process there is no pick and choose and that it’s a commitment which belongs to all.
He also said that the FNR had to face hard times and intensified problems at its initial stage, but with faith and God’s will, FNR has come to the extent where it has achieved support from organizations and people who have come forward and offered their cooperation.
The FNR has become the leading voice for reconciliation, expressing the fervent hopes for peace of the vast majority of Nagas, Wati said.
