One day training and demonstration on agriculture farm machineries and implements was organized by department of agriculture, Wokha on April 13 at KVK, ICAR Wokha.
Resource person, SMS, KVK ICAR Wokha, Mhalo spoke in detail on the importance of mechanized farming. She explained in brief about the role of technology for successful implementation of mechanized farming in the field of agriculture.
Mhalo informed that various tools and machineries are developed to help ease farming through increase work efficiency, reduce labour cost and decrease time consumption.
She said that if one fully understand and accept the varied technology, to bring about mechanized farming is not a problem. However, she added that the problem increases when one fails to adopt technology in farming.
The resource person urged the farmers to learn through experience by implementing what is proper and bring about mechanized farming to bring about desirable change and better farming.
Earlier, welcome address was delivered by chairperson AO, Eyingo Tungoe and vote of thanks by AFA Chichanbeni. Practical demonstration on various machineries, tools and implements were done by resource person and department officials.
