Alleging Nagaland Khadi and Village Industries Board (NKVIB), Dimapur of charging extra amount from the beneficiaries of PMEGP 2015, the Youth Association of Nagaland (YAN) Monday has served 10-day deadline to NKVIB in releasing the extra amount.
YAN also warned that it would not hesitate to take its own course of action in the event of authority’s failure to refund the extra amount to the beneficiaries within the given deadline.
In a press statement, YAN president, Hetoi Chishi and vice president, Taka Temjen accused NKVIB authority of charging Rs. 4300 from the beneficiary for “project preparation of 10 years”, when the state government and the higher authority had fixed Rs. 1000 to be charged from every beneficiary. In this, regard YAN sought immediate clarification from CEO of NKVIB Dimapur. Further, YAN has appealed state government to investigate the matter and take immediate action against those employees involved.
