EAC (dev), Wokha, Shaying Sheu has informed all general public and business establishment that sale and use of spring type coil heating elements including the associated porcelain base/plate was banned with immediate effect.
Defaulters would invite penalty in the form of electricity disconnection, fine or imprisonment as per the Electricity Act 2005.
