Deputy commissioner Dimapur, N. Hushili Sema has informed all political parties and public of Dimapur district that the election commission of India has ordered for the conduct of summary revision of electoral rolls with reference to Januray, 1, 2014 as the qualifying date vide chief electoral election officers Nagaland, Kohima press release no.ELE/REV-13/2013 part -1 dated July 24, 2013.

Further, DC informed that as per the guidelines of the election commission of India, recognized political parties can appoint booth level agents polling station wise only for special campaign dates, i.e. on October 12 and 26 to assist the booth level officers towards ensuring fidelity of the photo electoral rolls of the district. They are also required to attend training as and when training date is notified, added DC.
