AR hands over new office building to Aresa

In a simple function, Commandant 31 Assam Rifles inaugurated and handed over a new office building to the Assam Rifles ex- servicemen association (ARESA) of Mokokchung. for quite some time the office bearers and the AR ex servicemen were facing great difficulties as the previous office building was in a dilapidated state and was not in a condition to even carry out repairs.
A defence release stated that on request from ARESA office bearers, 31 Assam Rifles arranged a perfect condition office building for ARESA and handed over to them.
While addressing a small gathering of ex- servicemen and widows, Commandant 31 Assam Rifles conveyed that his unit would continue to undertake good work and welfare activities for the genuine welfare of all ex-servicemen.  A ‘high tea’ was also organised for all participants at the function.
