Mon district GBs Association (MDGBA) held a meeting on July 11 at Mon HQ with all 14 unit presidents and secretaries. MDGBA in a release stated that the association adopted the following resolutions i.e. to co-operate and fully support Nagaland GBs Federation (NGBF) under the leadership of Shahlem Konyak. The association appealed to all Naga factions to re-affirm peace and unity and to stop “bloodshed” within Konyak jurisdiction and Nagaland as well.
The association also appealed to all Naga National leaders to consider “journey of common hope” which was signed by FNR and appealed to all factions/groups to tolerate and forgive each other and jointly work to bear good fruits for the benefit of Naga who were waiting for peace and reconciliation of Nagas.
MDGBA further expressed gratitude to chief minister, Nagaland for releasing GBs Corpus Fund to its 24 beneficiaries of the district and has also appealed the commissioner, Nagaland and president NGBF for another arrangement for the present GBs of Nagaland.
