Study tour for development secretaries (DS) of the association, under Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) is being undertaken under the initiative of Nagaland Development Outreach (NDO), development wing of NBCC.
The two-week study tour commenced from July 11. NDO in a statement said participation of the associations was integral and activities were implemented in the association and local church level under the coordinated guidance of NDO. NDO said the tour was aimed at building new and strengthening existing capacities and skills to ensure that services were delivered to the community.
As an integral task of the ongoing activities to strengthen the management capacity of association and churches in Nagaland, NDO organized the study tour for DS and the board of NDO. During their two weeks tour, the team would be visiting Cambodia and Thailand and interact with the officials of Church of Christ in Thailand. The team would also visit Wattana Vittaya Academy, Bangkok Christian College, CCT seminar centre, churches and Kasetstart University including chicken farm, rubber plantation and other income generation projects of churches in Thailand.
