Friendship Forum of India (FFI) confers award to ICS director

Director Indigenous Cultural Society (ICS) Nagaland Dr. Hesheto Y. Chishi was awarded three coveted awards and gold medals (Certificate of Excellence & Certificate of Felicitation), ‘Bharat Excellency Award’, ‘Rashtrya Ratan Award’ and ‘North Eastern Golden Personalities Award’ during the award presentation programme on June 30 at New Delhi.

Chishi was awarded for his achievement and outstanding contribution in the field of literature, culture and social service.
Indigenous cultural society general secretary Manju Mahi said the award was awarded by Friendship Forum of India (FFI) New Delhi to those who have a touch of genius scaled and all heights against odds to achieve excellence.

Friendship Forum of India (FFI) is a well-known social and voluntary organization working for the past many years in the service of the nation and countrymen. The Forum honors some very eminent men and women of Indian origin for their exploit in chosen field of work; science, technology, education, industry, fine arts, sports, politics and social work etc. The awards are given to selected few most extraordinary men & women who have done something special for the country and/or their countrymen and have attained greater excellence in the field of their work.
