As a part of the ongoing Swacch Bharat mission activities, Wokha district administration conducted district level quiz competition under the theme “Swachh Wokha” with Deputy Commissioner (DC) Wokha Robin Lotha as chief guest and Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Wokha Hotolu Swu as guest of honour.
During the programme, the Deputy Commissioner stressed on the importance of keeping one’s home and surroundings clean and said cleanliness should start at home. He pointed out that students have a very important role to play in this regard. The competition was participated by ten teams from different schools from Wokha. Among the top six teams after preliminary round Atula C. Longchar and Kamalika Das from Libemo Memorial School emerged as the winners and were awarded with Rs. 10000; first runners up were Jogita Laishram and Thungbeni Lotha of Isaiah Ability School while Burnice Yanthan and Thungdeno Humtsoe of Springdale School were adjudged in third position and walked away with Rs. 7500 and Rs. 5000 respectively.
