Tourism deptt advisory for Heritage village

With a view to keeping clean the Naga Heritage Village, Kisama, the state department of tourism has issued an advisory to the public/visitors listing Dos and Don’ts to follow.
Dos: Obtain permit/pass before entering the Heritage Complex; maintain cleanliness in the Heritage premises; trek in the specific routes and passage ways only; pay entry/parking/toll fees free to authorised collector; dispose garbage/dump at dustbin/sewage management corner and use bio-degradable eco-friendly plates/cups; carry bags and wrappers.
Don’ts: Enter the Heritage Complex before and stay after the specific time; smoke or lit fire and litter or throw trash inside the Heritage premises.
The department has strictly prohibited use of synthetic/plastic substances; beverages and damages of properties; use of IMFL and other intoxicant substances inside the Heritage premises and carrying of arms/ammunitions/explosive devices except for ‘Z’ and VVIPs securities.
Timing: Winter (October-March) 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and summer time (April-September) 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Further, the department informed that entrance gates would be closed down except for official function going beyond the stipulated time to ensure peace and safe guard in the premises.
It cautioned that violators would be penalised depending upon the gravity of violation/crime and requested all to cooperate.
