31 Assam Rifle has informed the local populace of the neighbouring villages not to enter/move near the firing range, Mokokchung during the practice firing.
In a press release, Unit 2IC Haridas Dogra said firing practice would take place from October 26 to November 14 (time 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and night firing from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.)
Schedule of firing: Oct 26-Oct 31; Nov 2 to Nov 7; Nov 12 to Nov 14.
