The All Sumi Students’ Union (SKK) has cautioned the government to immediately revoke the cabinet decision and stop all processes with regard to the 10 EAC recruitment process.
All Sumi Students’ Union (SKK) stated that the cabinet decision to hold special recruitment of ten EACs for ten tribes was the “most unfortunate decision and a direct discrimination” to the remaining tribes.

All Sumi Students’ Union (SKK) president, Nihoyi Kinnimi questioned the government as to why another special favour has been given to the ten tribes as the tribes also fall under the purview of government’s reservation quota.

All Sumi Students’ Union (SKK) stated that the latest cabinet decision grants these tribes an additional quota which was “not unacceptable”, adding the union would not negotiate with this and demanded the government to immediately revoke the “immature and unsound cabinet decision”.
The union further affirmed its support to Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) on total review of reservation policy.
