Department works & housing has informed that in view of landslide at Phesama village, the National Highway-39 has been closed for all traffic. The department said light vehicles could ply via Chakhabama- Kidima-Viswema- Mao road.
Heavy vehicles stranded at Dimapur have been requested to utilise the Inter State Truck Terminus facility at 7 Mile-Chumukedima.
Further, the department said BRO was trying its best to clear the road at the earliest with the help of local communities and organisations, but added that this would take a few more weeks.
