Eastern Naga Students Federation (ENSF) officials along with its federating units of Confederation of Chang Students Union, (CCSU) Yimchungru Akheru Arih Ako, (YAA) Khiamniungan Students Union (KSU) and United Sangtam Students Conference (USSC) conducted surprise checking in all the departments in Tuensang.
During the surprise checking, the federation detected various problems in some of the departments which include, civil hospital Tuensang, where Dr. Asonla Chang, eye specialist was found to be attached to civil hospital Dimapur, while Temjen, Physio Therapist never attended office.
The team also detected various assistant matrons irregular in office while, the principal Nursing School reports for work once or twice in a month.
Most of the laboratories were found to be defective and technicians not in station.
The inspection team also found that PWD department almost deserted, and that vacancy in PWD housing was caused due to superannuation where earlier, appoints were made without reservation policy, except 4th grade post.
ENSF also said most of the government servants were found irregular in their respective offices and cautioned that it would take stringent action against those erring officers and staff.
Meanwhile, ENSF appealed to all government officers and servants to perform their duties regularly.
