
State government has constituted Nagaland State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NSCPCR) as full-fledged independent commission with immediate effect.
As per the terms of reference, the commission would exercise power and perform functions assigned to as conferred under the Act.
With its Headquarters at Kohima, the commission’s chairperson and member would hold office for a term of three years from the date on which they assume office. The service condition of the chairperson and members will be regulated as prescribed in the Act, it stated.
