The 2nd talent expo-competition of All Nagaland private schools’ association (ANPSA) Kohima unit was held at Chandmari Higher secondary school Kohima, Saturday.
ANPSA Kohima unit president, Nzanbeni Tsopoe in her welcome address said such kind of platform brings schools together and provide opportunity for healthy competition among students.
Pheluophelie advisor ANPSA in his short speech, said ANPSA “encourages students more in competency than competition”, and advised students to acknowledge others who were better than them.
The programme started with invocation prayer by Asenlatemsü, Principal, Chandmari Higher Secondary School, while the show was hosted by Samuel and Ayang. Entertainment items were presented by Public school Dzüvürü Kohima, Children Christian school Kohima and Stella Hr. Sec. school Kohima respectively.
The result of the competition was declared S.P Francis advisor ANPSA Kohima unit and vote of thanks was proposed by Stephen Theyo joint secretary ANPSA Kohima unit.
The judges were Yanbothung (musician), Seyie Tepa (Artist) and Daniel (full circle center).
Coroggio School Kohima bagged the first prize, Bayavu hill high school Kohima bagged second while the third prize was bagged by Merry Tods school Kohima.
The five consolation prize winning schools included St. Joseph’s school lower Chandmari Kohima, Alderville school Phezhu, Public school Dzüvürü Kohima, Cherry blossom school Kohima and Little flower higher secondary school Kohima.
Altogether 25 schools participated in the talent expo-competition.
