Following the notification issued by DC Kohima regarding deposit of fire arms at police stations in view of the upcoming election, the office of SP Kohima in a press release Sunday requested all license holders to co-operate and voluntarily deposit the firearms at the police station of their jurisdictions.
According to the press release, after a specific period, address of defaulters would be obtained and action taken as per law. For further clarification, one could contact North PS, South PS, Khuzama PS, Tseminyu PS and Chiephobozou PS.
