C.L John opens Zutovi village circular road

Minister for rural development C.L. John inaugurated a village circular road at Zutovi under RD Block Dhansiripar September 19.
The road was constructed by the village development board (VDB) under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Gurantee Act (MGNREGA) scheme.
Addressing the villagers at the inaugural function, minister C.L John asserted villages should judiciously use fund provided by the government for developmental activities. 
Also speaking at the function, parliamentary secretary for science and technology, IT and communication, technical education and taxes, Tovihoto Ayemi called upon the villagers to cooperate with the government and avail the facilities development of the village.
Delivering a short speech, DRDA Dimapur project director Asangla T. Aier urged the people especially those in the rural areas to focus more on income generating schemes in order boost the livelihood of the people.
