Nagaland government home department has directed that the National Flag of India should be printed on bio-degradable paper materials only. And that all the National evens, sports and cultural occasions, the use of plastic and other non-biodegradable materials should not be used.
The directive is in pursuance of the “Flag code of India, 2002 and prevention of insults to National Honour Act, 1971.
