Zeliangrong Baudi Nagaland (ZBN) has called upon all the contractors and firms executing contract works under Peren district to be vigilant and to sincerely carry out their work according to government norms.
In a press release, ZBN president Rangsam N Hau and general secretary Meijiang Gonmei said in certain area using under quality raw materials in construction work, saying road would be in deplorable and pathetic condition within one year of completion of their work.
According to Baudi, such workmanship amounted to undermining the hospitality bestowed upon to any contractor or firm and suppliers by the people of Peren district for smooth development.
Asserting present situation and condition of the roads and some deplorable government quarters were glaring example of poor workmanship, ZBN said it would remain vigilant on any contractor or firms and suppliers working in different department.
It also cautioned that anyone found neglecting in discharging their best quality of workmanship and services as per the norms would be seriously dealt with.
Baudi said it would commence its surprise visit and inspection in different places wherever developmental activities were being carried out in Peren.
Zeliangrong Baudi Nagaland also reaffirmed its commitment for cooperation and support in any manner for the smooth development of Peren District and to the welfare of the people.
